The ENLASA Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support the development of rural areas of Central America and other countries where ENLASA may be present. Rural areas face serious problems with migration and unemployment, even though they possess the natural resources which can offer the solutions to these problems.

Objectives
- To promote entrepreneurial youth to be eligible for university level scholarships for careers in agriculture, forestry, ecotourism, industrial transformation, marketing, etc.
- To develop training activities to strengthen the productive capacity of the technical and managerial staff in agriculture, forestry, etc.
- To implement research projects that will provide innovative alternatives to the problems in the sector.
- To collaborate with international institutions or corporations in order to increase the coverage of our programs.
- To strengthen the areas agriculture, forestry, ecotourism, animal production, agroindustry, marketing and other areas of food science and technology that will provide opportunities for innovation to sustainable rural development.
